I always spend so much money at Whole Foods, that's so true. The thing is, compared to other high end grocers, I think this store has  1) high quality products across the board 2) product selection that supports local makers, when possible 3) helpful staff 4) great flower selection 5) great house brand (365) products.

I have been to various Whole Foods across the country and while this one isn't my favorite, by a loooong shot, it does offer a decent layout and sells what I need, admittedly, at a premium.

Sometimes we come here for things that we just can't find other places: Jeni's ice cream from Columbus, Ohio, stinky cheeses (the stinkier, the better), and specialty health & wellness items (like a ceramic neti pot). They also have a great selection of local OKC beer.

I wish their app was better. That said, the folks who answer the phone when I'm looking for something are always helpful.

When in a pinch & looking for something particular, this store has come through more than once.

I've been to Whole Foods Market several times.  It is in a very nice location and the items are a bit pricier than if you shop at a regular chain grocery store. There is an emphasis on healthy living and eating organically.
If you pick up a prepared cheese, crackers and fruit tray make sure to check for the fruit's freshness.  Once home, I found the fruit was not edible.  This isn't the first time I've purchased something and was disappointed once I actually wanted to partake.
Also, If you plan to use the restroom while there....just wait if you can.  The women's bathroom always has toilet paper strung about the floor, wetness on the toilets, and a smell that resembles an old state park restroom. The cleanliness is very lacking.
There is a hot food bar, but it's a little confusing about how you actually serve up the food and pay for it.   Meanwhile people are walking around from all different directions and you feel a bit unsure about whether or not you are simply in everyone's way.
If you plan to dine in, there is an area outside, as well as a separate indoor dining area.  It can be a bit warm.  Today, it was quite nice to sit outside and enjoy time with my family while we had a nice salad.  The trash was overflowing when we were ready to throw away our disposable tray, water bottles and utensils. I do like that they have recycle bins.  As you can probably infer, I'm still not sure if I still like WF or if it is just pricey, dirty and "meh".

I love going to grocery stores. I enjoy going to markets and seeing fresh organic produce, sweet treats, cheeses and rustic breads.

I went to one of my favorite grocery stores over the weekend in Oklahoma City, Whole Foods. It is by far one of the best grocery stores in OKC.

They have tons of options for people who like to eat Organic, Gluten Free, Vegan, and Dairy Free.

Whole Foods is great for people who have a lot of food allergies. Last year I had to completely cut out gluten from my diet in order to see if I had an allergy to it. Thankfully, I didn't and I can go back to enjoying all of the tasty breads and desserts Whole Foods has to offer!

The employees are always so friendly and helpful. The florists know what they are doing and are always eager to help you in your selection process.

My favorite thing to do at Whole Foods is to sit down in one of the sunny yellow metal chairs and enjoy a rose macaron, mini cannoli, or a savory treat in the company of friends.

This is a simple way that brings happiness to the soul. Sometimes it is the "little" things in life that can bring the "sweetest" grin to your face (aka a "macaron")!

The ready to eat food at this Whole Foods is the best! Whether you're looking for a healthy option for lunch like the fresh salad bar or splurging on some pizza, they have got you covered.

Stop by, devour a peanut butter or rose macaroon, a mini cannoli, fresh grapefruit juice, fondue or whatever your tastebuds desire. I promise you won't regret it.

I am simply not a fan. This appears to be a love it or hate it place based on my friends and family.
The prices were way to high and the experience was rough to say the least. The problems started in the oh so tight parking lot. Folks were running around crazy like it was the last day to buy food. The tight spaces made this nearly dangerous.
Inside, everything we looked at was higher than our regular store and some were nearly twice as much.
It was extremely clean and was a really nice looking location.
I know some love it, and it is probably great for certain things. It simply didnt meet my simple food needs and pocketbook.

I bought wine on my lunch break this week.

That's a huge statement regarding the new liquor laws of OKC. Once upon a time I lived in Austin, TX, which is where Whole Foods began. While their flagship location is nothing short of being a modern day world wonder - OKC's location is perfect for our city. Located in Nichols Hills near Classen Curve, I think the location makes sense. The store isn't too big, nor too small - it's just right. The store was very orderly, employees were helpful, and the selection of items was plentiful. It felt like a grocery store with a lot of "regulars."

I picked up a couple bottles of their in-house brand wine for $2.99, and they didn't disappoint at that price point. Now, am I a wine connoisseur? Can I tell what is "good" wine and what isn't? Nah. But after 2 glasses, all wine tastes the same anyway, right?

I will return to try out the lunch buffet - lots of good looking options on display - and of course, I'll return to buy more wine. Can't see why I shouldn't  give Whole Foods OKC 4 stars.
